England defender Djed Spence set for move to Serie A giants Inter Milan

Tottenham Hotspur defender Djed Spence is set for a transfer to Inter Milan after the Italian club agreed a 30m pound fee for the England international.

Spence was outstanding for England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he helped his country to a third-place finish, and now looks set for a move to Serie A.

The full-back would have likely found playing opportunities limited at Spurs with Pedro Porro the first-choice right-back and Destiny Udogie, Andy Robertson and Ben Davies all able to play left-back.

Inter have been looking for a new option at right-wing-back after Denzel Dumfries made the move to Real Madrid earlier in the current transfer window.

Spence will be no stranger to Serie A having enjoyed a six-month loan spell with Genoa  from January 2024.

The 26-year-old had three years left on his contract at Spurs, with an option for a further year, having joined the London club from Middlesbrough in 2022.
