Confirmed: TS Galaxy FIFA registration ban lifted

The Rockets ended the 2025/26 campaign aware that they had been sanctioned by world football’s governing body and had hoped to resolve the matter before the new campaign got underway. 

Galaxy have previously been punished by FIFA over outstanding payments to foreign players who pursued legal action, but Sukazi explained that the latest sanction was unrelated to money owed to a player.

For the first time this season, Parker was able to select from his full squad when Galaxy beat Marumo Gallants 3-2 at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Tuesday night.

“Yes, finally the monkey is off our back with regard to the player registration ban we had in a matter that had nothing to do with any amount owed to a player,” Sukazi said. 

“It was due to the delay in the onboarding of our club in the FIFA Clearing House system. We are just delighted that we are now fully accredited with the FIFA Clearing House and are able to use our full squad complement.”

The development will be welcomed by Parker, particularly with the transfer window remaining open until 21 September.

The lifting of the ban now allows Galaxy to explore further opportunities in the market, potentially strengthening their squad for the remainder of the campaign.

After finally putting the administrative issue behind them, the Rockets can now focus on their season with greater freedom, both on and off the pitch.

Meanwhile, Chippa United have also resolved their own dispute with Burkina Faso international Ronald Sanou and have also had their registration ban lifted.
