The former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder joined the Chilli Boys on a free transfer at the start of the season after he’d spent more than six months on the sidelines following his brief spell with Moroka Swallows.
Jali himself had told the public broadcaster on the back of his move to Chippa that he had contemplated quitting football because of the Swallows debacle where the club terminated the contracts of 24 players in January last year, leaving him clubless until the Chilli Boys called.
His stint in Gqeberha was promising with Jali a key player under coaches Kwanele Kopo and Thabo September, but later falling out of favour.
Jali, 35, has not featured for Chippa since February and it’s believed he will not be returning to action beyond this season.
What has been decided is the future of Jali at the club, with information gathered confirming that the two parties are moving their separate ways.
It remains to be seen whether the ex-Orlando and Bafana Bafana international will consider hanging up his boots and find another club in the coming weeks.
