The African nation continue to turn heads in their maiden appearance at the global tournament, first holding European champions Spain to a goalless stalemate in their opening encounter.
Cape Verde then scored their first ever goal in the World Cup when they took the lead in the first half against Uruguay, before going into the half-time break 2-1 behind.
Brito's charges though showed their fighting spirit to find the equaliser and know a victory against Saudi Arabia in their final group game will propel them into the knockout stages.
"Once you're on the pitch, a lot of things become equal. As big as the opponent might be on the world stage, many national teams become equal," a beaming Bubista told reporters.
"We wanted to show that not only in football, but also in other aspects of life.
"Show that you can achieve great things regardless of your challenges, whether they're financial or of any other kind. Just so long as you have a dream and chase after it."
Saudi Arabia are currently bottom of the group on one point following a 4-0 drubbing by Spain and Brito is optimistic about Cape Verde's chances of advancing.
"Considering what we've done with two international-grade teams, I think our focus has to be qualifying," the coach added.
"If we were to think about that, I think it's only legitimate to do so considering what we've done ... But also, we know that any one of these teams also has the opportunity to move forward."
