Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has hailed the mentality of striker Gio Reyna despite a lack of regular first-team football.
USA international Reyna, still just 20, is behind the likes of Marco Reus, Julian Brandt, Karim Adeyemi and Donyell Malen in the pecking order.
Injuries hindered Reyna in the opening half of the season and he has mainly been used as a replacement in the second half. He has an impressive seven Bundesliga goals to his name, averaging a goal every 83 minutes in the German top-flight.
"Gio is not making it easy for me just to bring him on (off the bench)," Terzic said (via Ruhr Nachrichten). "He challenges the other guys in training every day. That's the performance mindset we want to see."
