Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman talks PSG ahead of Champions League clash

Kingsley Coman is looking forward to the Champions League last 16 first tie between Bayern Munich and PSG on Tuesday.

French international winger Kingsley Coman is eagerly anticipating the Champions League last 16 first tie between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain FC on Tuesday at Parc des Princes.

"I am part of the team™s exclusive council, so I guess I have some role to play," said Coman. "I feel very good here. I know how to best help my team and my clubs. I give my all on the pitch. All is very good for now, let™s hope it stays that way."

Coman, who left PSG's youth system in 2014 to join Juventus, signed for Bayern Munich a year later and extended his contract last year, making him a vital member of the squad until 2027.

The 26-year-old is set to feature on the left wing against Les Parisiens, as Sadio Mane (30) is on the road to recovery from injury but unavailable for the clash.

"We don't say that we will play a weaker Paris side. We know that, in the Champions League, they tend to increase the pace," said Coman, three years after winning the title against his former club.

Coman also acknowledged Mane's significance as an important player that settled perfectly with his new teammates. "Hopefully, he'll be there for the second leg. It's on us to place him in the best possible conditions."

A win at Parc des Princes would certainly be a great result for the club.
