Lookman had been sidelined since the start of the season following a tense standoff with the club, sparked by his failed move to Inter Milan during the summer transfer window.
Despite his absence at club level, the 26-year-old continued to feature for Nigeria in World Cup qualifying matches, keeping match fitness intact.
Speaking to the media, Percassi reassured fans that Lookman still has a place at Atalanta, provided his focus is fully on the team.
"We know his technical ability, but to play here you have to be 100% focused. When he's ready, we'll welcome him back with open arms," Percassi Foot-Africa wrote.
Lookman enjoyed an impressive spell with Atalanta last season, emerging as one of their most decisive players in attack. His return is expected to bolster Gian Piero Gasperini's squad as they balance domestic ambitions with European commitments.
The forward's reintegration will be closely watched, with supporters eager to see if he can quickly rediscover the form that made him a key figure in the Dea attack.
