Liverpool looked set for victory until Richarlison struck in the 90th minute to rescue a point for Spurs, continuing a worrying trend that has cost the Reds valuable points in recent weeks.
Speaking after the match, Slot revealed he had already tried several tactical changes to stop the late collapses but admitted none had worked so far.
"I've tried a lot of things," the Liverpool head coach said. "If you look back on it, I've made defensive substitutions, attacking substitutions and different tactical decisions late in games."
He explained that in previous matches he had introduced Joe Gomez to strengthen the defence and also used Wataru Endo to help control second balls in midfield.
"I've brought Joe Gomez on in the last minute of a game to keep the lead at Fulham and we conceded," Slot said. "We've also used Wata during the season to win second balls in midfield."
The Dutch coach added that he had sometimes opted to keep attacking rather than defending deeper late in games.
"I've also made attacker-for-attacker substitutions instead of bringing a defender on. We've tried many things, but the way we concede goals is constantly different."
Despite the repeated setbacks, Slot insisted the situation would eventually improve.
"The things you can try from the side - defensive or offensive substitutions - I've tried many of them," he said. "But it hasn't yet led to us not conceding in the last minute. It won't stay like that, I can tell you that."
Liverpool's frustrations were clear at full-time as some supporters voiced their disappointment. Slot said he fully understood the reaction from the Anfield crowd.
"I think it's understandable for fans to be frustrated because it has happened many times," he said. "They have seen the home team not picking up the points they expect after conceding late goals."
The Reds had taken the lead through Dominik Szoboszlai but were unable to hold on.
"We are all frustrated," Slot admitted. "Now it's up to me and the players to take that frustration into Wednesday and give the fans the performance and the result they deserve."
Liverpool's attention now turns to a huge European test against Galatasaray, who lead their Champions League last-16 tie 1â-0 after the first leg in Istanbul. Slot will hope his side can finally deliver the response supporters are demanding.
