A second half brace by France striker Kylian Mbappe gave Los Blancos all three points at Villareal, handing Arbeloa his third consecutive win at the helm of the club.
"The players' commitment is undeniable," said Arbeloa in the press room at the Estadio de la Cerámica after the match.
"As is the effort they have put in on a pitch like this, against a great Villarreal side with a fantastic coach. We knew it was one of the most difficult away games in the whole of LaLiga.
"We were playing away at the third-placed team, so we have to give a lot of credit to the players' effort and collective commitment. It's a team victory, and we're very happy to take the three points."
The result sees Madrid move to the top of the La Liga table, two points ahead of Barcelona who have a game in hand, whilst the Yellow Submarine slip to fourth spot on the log.
"We have a lot to improve in all aspects,â added the Spanish mentor.
"Starting with this great solidity and the great work of all the players. This team is going places, and I don't think this is the limit."
The Spanish giants will now focus on securing a top eight finish in their Champions League clash against Portuguese giants Benfica on Wednesday.
