Al Ahly might face Waydad Casablanca without two key players

Pitso Mosimane will lead Al Ahly against Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca Monday evening (21:00) at the Mohamed V stadium in Casablanca, as they aim to make history and win their third consecutive CAFCL trophy.

The Red Devils are going to this final doubtful about the availability of two key players, Amr El-Sulya and Hamdy Fathy, but Mosimane said they are not really bothered because they have now gotten used going to big matches without some of their important players.

œOur team is always ready and has played without important players, it has been in our journey. You look at our history for the last two-years I have been around here-we™ve always played without important players, we™ve played the World Cup without captain (Mohamed El) Shenawy, and we™ve played the World Cup without nine player swhen CAF decided to play the same Cup final when we were in the world cup.

œSo when you ask me about two players, ask me about 11-players in the world cup I think you have your answer there said Mosimane to the media.

Ahly recently played Raja Casablanca in the quarterfinals and they knocked them out after winning 3-2 on aggregate and Mosimane told the journalists in Morocco that Ahly is capable of beating Wydad in front of its home fans.
