TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic admits the FIFA sanction continues to pile pressure on his side as they prepare for another crucial Betway Premiership clash.
The Rockets take on Chippa United on Tuesday night still searching for their first win of the 2025/26 season.
Galaxy remain barred from registering new players due to a long-standing FIFA ban, despite the club insisting that all outstanding payments have now been settled.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Beganovic conceded the situation is far from ideal but says his focus is on what he can control.
"That's the main part of what we tried to do in the last month, bring new players to the club but we have issues with registrations with the FIFA ban. The club tried to sort out everything until now we can't do anything because still the FIFA ban is there but if you want to win something, if you want to improve your team you need to stay positive,” Beganovic said.
“Everybody in the club is positive, we just finished our last training session before the Chippa game, I think again we go there to fight, to try to get something. It's only one wish to try to collect some points.
“I think we have quality, even if we have a small squad but I think we go there to just try to get something because we go there to fight and to turn our season on a better way."
Despite this setback, Beganovic has total faith that the current playing personnel can still turn things around before it’s too late.
"Why I stay positive because I know, every training session I see quality in what we have inside the players, what we can use and then I think if we are a little bit more lucky we can turn everything,” the coach added.
“We can win games, we can collect three points, even last game against Sekhukhune, we played well, we created so many chances, we did everything that we needed to do.
“We miss all our chances and then we lose the game, unlucky, that's it. I stay positive because we have quality, it's a question of time when we switch and do everything properly."
