Pirates picked up their second win of the Betway Premiership season after beating topflight rookies Orbit College 1-0 at Orlando Stadium last night, with Mofokeng missing out after limping off the pitch from the MTN8 semi-final at the weekend.
Ouaddou says it was important that they left Mofokeng out of the league clash, which came just three days later.
"Unfortunately, I have to discuss with my medical department. Of course, they communicated with me about the fact that he cannot be a part of this game," said Ouaddou.
"But we still didn't have any feedback on the exam he should do. I hope it's nothing serious because we need him."
It was not a great first half from The Buccaneers, who needed a scorching strike in the second half from Lebone Seema to clinch the three points, and Ouaddou acknowledged their performance in the latter stages were more acceptable for the club's ambitions.
"We've been dominated, and I think the whole first half we lost many balls and didn't have the control of the ball in that first half because the opponent was good, with very good players and a lot of mobility in the middle," he acknowledged.
"We didn't concede a lot of chances in the first half, but at the same time, I was not so happy about how we started, and we had to make some changes in the second half to bring some fresh blood with [offensive] players who could control the ball.
"And I think the impact players changed the [complexion] of the match in the second half, which was the image we expect of Orlando Pirates.
"If we are ambitious and want to reach the top of the log, this is the kind of performance and rhythm we expect from a team of Orlando Pirates."
