Willie le Roux, Johan Goosen back in Bulls side to face Bordeaux

The Bulls welcome back some star power for this weekend's all-important Champions Cup clash against Bordeaux Begles at Loftus Versfeld.

Saturday's match marks the final hurdle the Pretoria-based outfit need to clear to secure a spot in the knockout rounds of the competition.

The pool-topping French outfit visits Loftus with a three-point lead at the top over second-placed Lyon, whilst the hosts are hot on their heels in third place. The top four in Pool 1 will advance to the last 16.

Director of Rugby Jake White has made some changes to his matchday squad, with Mornay Smith coming into the front row at tight-head in place of injured Wilco Louw. Smith will front up alongside fellow prop Gerhard Steenekamp and Jan-Hendrik Wessels at hooker. Behind the trio will be Reinhardt Ludwig and Ruan Nortje in the second row.

Marcell Coetzee will marshal the troops from blind-side flank with Mpilo Gumede on the open side. Cameron Hanekom returns to matchday duties and slots in at eight.

at the back, the services of halfback duo Embrose Papier and Johan Goosen have been retained. Behind them, there is a shuffle of positioning with Devon Williams moving from the back to left wing, pairing up with Sebastian de Klerk on the right side of the park. David Kriel returns to inside centre as Stedman Gans partners with him. Willie le Roux also returns to the matchday squad and will start at fullback.
