Stormers announce 2025/2026 URC squad featuring 15 Springboks

The Stormers have released their 55-man squad set to do battle in the 2025/2026 United Rugby Championship.

The squad includes double World Cup winners Frans Malherbe, Damian Willemse and new signing from Montpellier, Cobus Reinach.

Junior Springbok U20 Championship-winning captain Riley Norton has been included despite being just 19 years of age.  At the other end of the scale, Deon Fourie, who turns 39 in September, is also in the mix. The 2023 Rugby World Cup final hero will be starting in his 20th professional season.

The Stormers kick off their URC campaign when they host defending champions Leinster in Cape Town on 26 September.
