The South African squad touched down in the United States on Sunday following their 29-24 victory over New Zealand at FNB Stadium, which put them one win away from claiming the four-Test series.
A large group of South African fans gathered at the airport to welcome the world champions, with supporters waving flags and cheering as the players made their way through the terminal.
The Springboks will now turn their attention to the fourth and final Test against the All Blacks at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Saturday.
South African Ambassador to the USA Roelf Meyer will host the Springboks' management team and players at the South African Embassy in Washington, DC, on Thursday.
With the series still alive, the Boks need to avoid defeat to secure the overall series victory, while New Zealand must win to force a draw.
