Hardman Pablo Matera leads youthful Los Pumas against Bok bolters

The Springboks arrive in Buenos Aires after having won all three of their Nations Championship matches against England, Scotland and Wales.

Combative captain Pablo Matera leads the fresh-looking line-up. Behemoth Francisco Moreno, a player for Universitario de Tucuman, will start at tighthead prop and become Puma number 909. Packing down with him in the front row will be hooker Ignacio Ruiz and Boris Wenger.

The fleet-footed Santiago Carreras leads the dance at flyhalf, while the centre combo of Lucio Cinti and Faustino Sanchez Valarolo will be tested. Harlequins paceman Rodrigo Isgro is on the right wing.

The other three potential debutants are on the bench. Replacement hooker Leonel Oviedo and loose forwards Juan Penoucos and Juan Martin Scelzo - the son of the historic Los Pumas prop Martin Scelzo - will be eager for their first cap.

The match comes in a special year for Argentine rugby. It marks the 40th anniversary of Los Pumas' first match at Velez. Since then, the national team has accumulated a record of 40 matches at the Liniers stadium, with 15 wins, 1 draw, and 24 losses.
