Bok captain Siya Kolisi meets football legend David Beckham at NBA game

Springbok captain Siya Kolisi caught up with soccer legend and former England international skipper David Beckham on the basketball court in Paris on Thursday.

The pair were attending the match in support of NBA Paris Game '24 at Accor Arena where the Brooklyn Nets faced the Cleveland Cavaliers in front of 15,000 supporters.

Also in attendance were Kylian Mbappe and Brazil legend Ronaldo amongst other celebrities from the world of sport and entertainment as the Cavaliers won 111-102.

Two-time Rugby World Cup winner Kolisi was taking time out from club duty at Racing 92, who are currently preparing for their Champions Cup fixture with Bath on Sunday.

The 32-year-old star moved to the Top 14 side after the Springboks' Webb Ellis trophy victory on French soil, with his future at international level still very much uncertain.

The openside flanker clearly enjoys rubbing shoulders with the likes of Beckham, however, who is the current president and co-owner of Inter Miami in the USA.

Beckham wasn't the only football great in attendance at the game as former Brazil and Inter Milan star Ronaldo was pictured sitting alongside Beckham.

NBA Africa also posted a short video of Kolisi promoting the basketball action, which will be aired in Africa, with the South Africa back-rower seemingly hooked on the sport.

It will now be back to rugby matters though for Kolisi as Racing 92 look to get their European campaign back on track after two pool losses from two games thus far.

After facing off with Bath on the road the Top 14 league leaders will then return to Paris for a match against Cardiff as they look to sneak into the Champions Cup round-of-16.
