The Springbok Sevens team beat Argentina 35-7 in the final to claim their maiden title on Chinese soil on Sunday.
Visser says they have built a system that can be trusted.
"I was looking back at 2016/17 and 2017/18, we had some special years back then – going back-to-back World Series champions, and I think we've achieved something quite special this year as well," said Visser.
"Winning four out of six tournaments and now winning, basically, four in a row and it's just amazing testament to the hard work that's been done over the preseason.
"And I think just the buy-in and belief from the players that we've built a system that we can really trust and we can really just put our faith into."
South Africa had to dig deep to turn their fortunes around after a 31-12 defeat to Spain in their second pool game on Saturday, after which Visser admitted he could see crushed spirits in camp but conceded they needed to find their inner voice.
"Most definitely, after that big loss against Spain, you could see the spirits were almost crushed but we had to dig deep and just find that inner voice again, that belief in ourselves, belief in the system and the things that we're doing right," he added.
"Because you could easily start doubting yourself and, honestly, it was a terrible feeling going back to the hotel, knowing that we possibly might have thrown the weekend away.
"But we said we have one more opportunity against Argentina, it's a win by quite a few points [scenario], no second chances, and the boys took it with both hands."
