Flanker Anton Segner has been ruled out of the clash and replaced on the bench by Simon Parker.
Segner, who was born in Germany, made his New Zealand debut against Italy in the Nations Championship, coming off the bench in the victory, before earning his second cap against Ireland a week later.
The All Blacks confirmed that the 25-year-old has a swollen ankle that has been diagnosed as acute inflammatory arthritis. His return-to-play timeline remains uncertain.
Parker featured in the All Blacks' tour matches against the Stormers and Bulls and is in line to win his ninth Test cap for New Zealand. He joins Peter Lakai, Fletcher Newell, George Bower and Asafo Aumua among the forwards on the bench, with Kyle Preston, Anton Lienert-Brown and Leroy Carter providing backline cover.
The remainder of the All Blacks' starting XV is unchanged, with Damian McKenzie at full-back and Will Jordan and Josh Moorby on the wings. Jordie Barrett and Quinn Tupaea will form the midfield partnership.
Ardie Savea captains the side from the back row alongside Luke Jacobson and Tupou Vaa'i, with Fabian Holland and Josh Lord starting in the second row.
Tyrel Lomax, Codie Taylor and Ethan de Groot complete the starting XV in the front row.
