Bavuma, through the Temba Bavuma Foundation in partnership with the Frida Hartley Shelter, hosted the Community Food Drive in Yeoville. The initiative aims to support over 700 vulnerable individuals, aligning with the shelter’s growing demand for daily meals.

"Today is Freedom Day and we know the significance around that as South Africans. We've come as the foundation to host one of our flagship events here at the Frida Hartley Shelter. It's our Freedom Day food drive where we provide food to the shelter, but also the community of Yeoville.
"This was an opportunity for us to bring a sense of dignity and pride to the people and to engage about Freedom Day and what it means to all of us, and remind us about humility."
