SASCOC recently announced a squad of 112 athletes competing across 10 sporting codes.
With the countdown now underway, Fleisher says the team will travel to Scotland in three groups to ensure athletes arrive well prepared for their events.
He explained that athletes are scheduled to arrive three days before their competitions and will leave two days after completing their events.
"These Commonwealth Games in Glasgow have something called the period-of-stay policy, where you can only land three nights before your competition and you must leave within two days after your competition."
Fleisher says SASCOC is working hard to ensure there are no visa or travel delays before the Games.
He pointed to past experiences, including Bafana Bafana’s delayed departure to the FIFA World Cup because of visa paperwork, saying the Olympic body is doing everything possible to avoid similar problems.
"We have sent everybody, with the possibility of going to the Games or require a VISA, a letter and all those letters have gone out. We only received the names for weightlifting on Friday so those letters still need to go out today or tomorrow."
The long-serving SASCOC official says careful planning has made the travel process much smoother.
Fleisher explained that SASCOC operates as a project-managed organisation, allowing it to prepare well in advance for major international events.
He added that the organisation is confident everything is on track without the need for intervention from the Minister of Sport.
