The in-form middle-distance runner has earned her spot in Team South Africa after an outstanding season and will make her Games debut in Glasgow from 23 July to 2 August.
More is among the 25 athletes selected by Athletics South Africa for the national team, which forms part of the 112-member squad announced by the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC).
Speaking to SABC Sport after the team announcement, the 24-year-old said she is not putting pressure on herself and simply wants to embrace the experience and have fun.
"I'm going to there to have some fun, that's all. They say there will be a lot of people at a very big stadium, but all I can do is have fun."
More is coached and mentored by South African athletics legend Caster Semenya, who won Commonwealth Games gold medals in both the 800m and 1500m events.
She says she is looking forward to sitting down with Semenya to hear about her experiences at the Games and learn from her what to expect from competing on such a big stage.
"I'm still going to talk to her about her experience because we haven't really had the chance. I want to know what was going through her head on race day and when she lined up on the start line because I'm not used to it."
After finishing third at the Spar Women's 10km race in Cape Town earlier this year, More says the biggest difference between the athlete she used to be and the one she is today is her hunger to succeed.
She is determined to keep improving and has already set her sights on qualifying for her first Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.
