The dedicated official has been nominated for Sport Administrator of the Year, alongside Gauteng Lions CEO Jonathan Leat-Wright and Tennis South Africa General Manager Anthony Moruthane.
Even now, Schultz says the nomination still feels unexpected.
She is, however, looking forward to travelling to Sun City for the glittering awards ceremony on Sunday evening.
"I am actually surprised, unexpected nomination but I am super proud and honoured to be nominated and in that category with everyone else," said Schultz
Schultz has been a cycling administrator for the past 10 years and has taken on several responsibilities during her journey.
She has travelled the world while working tirelessly behind the scenes to help grow and develop cycling.
The busy administrator wears many hats and always makes sure that everything runs smoothly.
Despite the demands of her job, Schultz says she does not face many major challenges because she works in a professional and supportive environment.
She credits the strong relationship she has built with her colleagues for making the work easier.
Schultz has bigger ambitions and hopes to continue making a difference in cycling. One of her dreams is to take on a bigger leadership role while continuing to serve the sport she loves.
Schultz started her journey at club level and has gradually worked her way up over the past decade.
Along the way, she has achieved several milestones and shared some of her proudest moments as a cycling administrator.
