The highly anticipated race, which drew 8,000 participants, offered the richest 10km prize in South Africa, with the Kenyan winners each earning R37,500.
Neheng Khatala finished second in the women’s race in 34:29, while Karabo More was the first South African to cross the line, securing third place with a time of 34:33.
"I'm happy to be back here, I was here in August. I just want to say thank you to God for giving me this chance to win the Hollywoodbets 10 kilometre, I'm so happy," Ndinda said.
Previously held exclusively in Durban, the event made its debut in Gauteng, where it received an enthusiastic response from local runners and spectators alike.
Ndinda shared with the national broadcaster that she found the hilly course in Joburg both challenging and enjoyable.
While many runners struggled with the demanding terrain, they appreciated the favourable weather conditions.
"Talking about the route, the weather was good first, it was not hot. The route was hard for sure, it has many hills and downhills but I enjoyed the course, quite good," she added.
After competing in a local 10km race in August, she returned to South Africa and claimed victory, praising the country's facilities as among the best on the continent.
"This is the last race to do in South Africa. I'm going back now, the season has started. The weather in Kenya is quite good compared to South Africa. Many people you see train in Kenya and when they come to other countries, they do well in races."
