Souaibou Marou poised for Orlando Pirates debut as injury struggles ease

Orlando Pirates new signing Souaibou Marou could debut tonight against Marumo Gallants FC.

Orlando Pirates are set to make a big statement in tonight's DStv Premiership clash at Marumo Gallants FC, with the potential debut of new signing Souaibou Marou and the possible return of three key players.

Last Thursday, the Soweto giants confirmed the arrival of Cameroonian striker Marou, who has signed a deal that will keep him at the club until 2025.

The 22-year-old has spent the week training with the team and getting acclimatized to his new surroundings, and fans are eagerly awaiting his possible debut in tonight's match.

Pirates have also provided updates on the injury status of creative attacker Thembinkosi Lorch, goalkeeper Richard Ofori, and midfielder Miguel Timm.

"Having kicked off the year with a few of their stars sidelined, the Buccaneers have made some strides on the injury front with the likes of Richard Ofori and Thembinkosi Lorch now back in training," the club confirmed on their official website.

Timm, who missed out on last Sunday's game against Stellenbosch, is also on his way back to full fitness.

With Marou and the returning players, the Buccaneers are sure to put on a show in tonight's match and prove they are a team to be feared in the DStv Premiership.
