SABC Sport can confirm that goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is finally joining Mamelodi Sundowns from SuperSport United on a five-year contract.
The deal includes Ricardo Goss going in the opposite direction on a two-year loan deal as earlier reported - and striker Thabang Sibanyoni is also on his way to Matsatsantsa having spent the previous campaign at lower division side AmaTuks.
Its been a protracted discussion to get the Bafana Bafana and SuperSport skipper to Chloorkop over the last year or so, and he even confirmed to SABC Sport in May that he was ready for a fresh start and a new challenge.
He will now get that.
Indications are that the deal has been concluded, with Williams signing a long-term contract, while his former club have successfully negotiated the transfer of another goalkeeper in Ricardo Goss as well as young striker Thabang Sibanyoni to join coach Gavin Hunts side for the upcoming season.

Williams has been at United since he was 12 years old and is now 30 and set to compete for the No.1 jersey at Sundowns with veterans Denis Onyango and Kennedy Mweene as well as Reyaad Pieterse, who was once his deputy at Matsatsantsa before he too was signed by the Brazilians.
Initially, Matsatsantsa were not willing to sell Williams if Downs did not agree to give them Goss permanently, but the two clubs have now settled on a two-year loan for the ex-Bidvest Wits goalie - plus forward Sibanyoni.
