The 40-year-old Raza is back in his home country following a stint with Worcestershire in the English T20 Blast and will join a squad that will be captained for the first time in the ODI by fast bowler Richard Ngarava.
Fresh from scoring a maiden Test century in Zimbabwe's innings-and-85-run triumph over Bangladesh earlier this week, Innocent Kaia has been rewarded with selection in the 50-over squad.
Ngarava will lead a pace attack that also features Blessing Muzarabani, Brad Evans, Newman Nyamhuri and Ernest Masuku.
The squad's spin-bowling resources comprise all-rounders Ryan Burl and Wessly Madhevere together with left-arm spinner Wellington Masakadza.
Out from the ODI squad that last played in August 2025 against Sri Lanka are Brendan Taylor, Williams, Johnathan Campbell, Tony Munyonga and Trevor Gwandu.
All three ODIs will be played at the Harare Sports Club on July 6, 9 and 11.
