South Africa beat Ireland by 15 runs in another warm-up match on Saturday, having batted first and posting 135 runs in 18 overs.
Kapp says, while the win is a confidence booster for them as they get closer to the tournament, she’s still concerned about the way they take the foot off the gas with both bat and ball when they have their opponents under pressure.
"Just to play positive and work on the things you want to work on, but still try and dominate – even though we probably didn't do that today," said Kapp.
"It's just about, like I said, working on the things that we as individuals want to work on but, in doing that, also play positive cricket.
"I feel like we probably did that in the first half of the game, with the bat, and then we kind of just lost our game and, even with the bowling, it's to give everyone a bowl and you work on what you feel is needed."
Captain Laura Wolvaardt posted 65 from 37 deliveries in the match and looks in good form, with Kapp praising her skipper for leading from the front and being the ace up their sleeve whenever they need her to come up with some magic.
"Wolfie's always a banker, she performs especially on the big stage, so we know we can get runs from her, but I would still like the team as a whole to chip in probably a little bit more," she added.
"Even though it's not always that easy in T20 cricket, but it's great to have a leader that leads that way."
