At just 26 years old, Proteas allrounder Jansen has established himself as one of the most exciting cricketers of his generation, both on and off the field.
Since making his international debut in 2021, the left-arm fast bowler and hard-hitting batter has become a key figure across all three formats for the Proteas, earning global recognition for his impact with both bat and ball.
This accolade follows a period of continued success, including playing a significant role in South Africa's historic ICC World Test Championship-winning campaign in June 2025.
Cricket South Africa CEO Pholetsi Moseki said: "Marco's inclusion in the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 Class of 2026 is a proud moment for South African cricket and a fitting recognition of what he has achieved at such a young age.
"He represents the next generation of South Africa's sporting excellence and continues to inspire through his commitment to continuous improvement.
"We are delighted to see him recognised among some of the continent's brightest young achievers and wish him continued success for the future."
