David Bedingham (Durham)
Bedingham only scored 8 in a first-innings total of 405 in reply to Northants 450 at Chester-le-Street.
The home side then bowled the visitors for 250 to set up an intriguing run-chase that Bedingham aced, with the help of Colin Ackermann (65 not out) as the duo shared in an unbroken partnership of 189.
Jordan Hermann (Somerset)
Hermann contributed 17 in Somerset's first-innings total of 208 against Warwickshire at Taunton before the visitors replied with 330.
The home side then fought back with 435 all out with Hermann scoring 34 but the match eventually ended in a draw.
Kyle Verreynne (Nottnghamshire) and Simon Harmer (Essex)
It was a mixed outing for the Proteas Test teammates as they went up against against each other at Chelmsford.
Essex were bowled out for just 184 in the first innings with Harmer scoring a single batting at number 8 while wicketkeeper Verreynne had two catches behind the stumps.
The visitors then replied with a mammoth 457 all out of which Verreynne only contributed 11 and was dismissed by the off-spin of Harmer. The slow-bowler eventually finishing with figures of 5-165 in a marathon 45 overs.
The hosts then did not pup up much resistance with the bat second time around as they were bowled out for 221, Harmer hitting 27, to go down by an innings and 52 runs.
