The 19-year-old midfielder, who joined the Black and Yellows from Sunderland in a record-breaking deal worth up to 38 million euros, has already turned heads in training.

Reports suggest Dortmund's coaching staff are considering thrusting Bellingham into the starting lineup for the high-stakes clash at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Tuesday. His seamless integration into the squad has fueled excitement among fans eager to see the younger brother of Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham make his mark.

Sporting director Sebastian Kehl lauded Bellingham's impact, highlighting his professionalism and drive. "He's clearly in rhythm, having played further into the season," Kehl said. "He's a good kid, very open, but also possesses a winning mentality, the right discipline, and professionalism. Jobe has already made his mark in training during the first few days."

Head coach Niko Kovac echoed this enthusiasm, emphasizing the team's ambitions. "We want to perform and advance as far as possible," Kovac said, noting the importance of a strong start against Fluminense.

The Croat has overseen intense preparations, with Dortmund adapting to the six-hour time difference by training later to minimize jet lag, a strategy Kovac detailed on the club's official website.

Bellingham's arrival follows a standout season with Sunderland, where he played 90 matches, scored 11 goals, and helped secure promotion to the Premier League. His versatility as a defensive or box-to-box midfielder offers Dortmund tactical flexibility.

A recent post on X from Borussia Dortmund's official account, welcomed Bellingham with a nod to his number 77 jersey, signaling his readiness for the tournament.

Dortmund, who finished fourth in the Bundesliga and secured Champions League qualification, are favorites in Group F alongside Fluminense, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Ulsan HD. A strong performance from Bellingham could set the tone for their campaign, with fans hopeful he can emulate his brother's success at Signal Iduna Park.

The Black and Yellows face a seasoned Fluminense side, led by veterans like Thiago Silva, in a match that promises intensity. With Bellingham poised to shine, Dortmund are gearing up for a bold start to their Club World Cup journey.
