Youssoufa Moukoko slams media over Borussia Dortmund contract reports

Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko has shot down newspaper claims that he has been offered a new club contract.

Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko has told fans that they shouldn't believe everything that is written about him in newspapers.

It is unclear what has brought out this reaction from Moukoko, but it is thought to be related to a German newspaper report by Bild claiming that Dortmund have made a final contract offer to the striker.

The 18-year-old Moukoko wrote on Instagram: "Please don't believe everything you read in the newspaper.

"I will never accept such a lie about me," Moukoko said, whose Dortmund contract falls due at the end of the current Bundesliga season.

"It's really sad that nowadays you can bring something like this into the world, so that you (fans) have a false image of me." Moukoko added.

"My focus is on the second half of the season, and it's all about the club Borussia Dortmund. No player is bigger than the club."

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly very interested in signing Moukoko during the January Transfer window, if he does not extend his stay at Dortmund.
