The 20-year-old joined Everton from Chelsea on loan during the January transfer window and did enough to convince the Premier League club to secure his services on a long-term deal. While neither club disclosed the transfer fee, reports in Britain claim the move could be worth up to 24 million pounds.
George says returning to Everton was always his priority after enjoying his first taste of regular Premier League football at Goodison Park.
"I'm so happy to sign for Everton. I loved my time here on loan last season, so as soon as I knew it was a possibility to return, that's always what I wanted," George said.
The England Under-21 international made 11 appearances during the second half of last season and showed his pace, direct running and attacking quality. Everton now expect him to continue his development as part of their squad for the new campaign.
George came through Chelsea's academy before breaking into the first team in 2024, making 37 senior appearances for the London club before completing his move to Merseyside.
His arrival continues Everton's active transfer recruitment. The club have also signed midfielder Hayden Hackney from Middlesbrough and turned Merlin Rohl's loan move from Freiburg into a permanent deal as they strengthen the squad ahead of the new Premier League season.
