RB Leipzig excited ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns friendly

The Red Bull Diski Last Namba, an international exhibition match between Leipzig and Sundowns kicks off at 8pm this evening and will be live on SABC 3.

Speaking to SABC Sport, Lukeba says he hopes they will win the hearts of Downs fans.

"I'm so excited...I think it will be a good game and I'm happy that will see a lot of smiles in the stands as the people here continue to share the love."

Redbull South Africa hosted Leipzig and Sundowns fans for a cultural exchange in Mamelodi, Pretoria, which included teaching Leipzig players igwijo, and also had a tasting of South African traditional foods.

The defender who has dual citizenship in Angola and France says the experience taught them a lot about the country’s culture.

"Well honestly, the culture is so amazing and since we arrived here we have learned a lot. Everyone has been so kind to us and we feel right at home, and we are excited to see and experience more."

The tour has been full of activities, including a welcome dinner, a visit to the Amandla Safe Hub in Alexandra as well as a public training session at Wits University.

Lukeba has thanked South Africans for their hospitality.
