RB Leipzig arrive in South Africa ready to face CAF Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns

Die Roten Bullen ended in third place in the recent German top-flight season, behind Champions Bayern Munich and runners-up Borussia Dortmund.

They departed Germany for South Africa on Monday and will face the CAF Champions League winners at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday.

Leipzig head coach Ole Werner was unable to select a number of World Cup-bound players but nevertheless has assembled a strong team made up of 16 first team and 10 academy players.
