Preview: Bafana Bafana gear up for first ever clash against Andorra

Bafana Bafana are favourites to land a victory when they take on Andorra in the first ever international clash between the teams in Algiers on Thursday.

Hugo Broos' charges are currently 58th in the FIFA world rankings while European minnows Andorra sit at a lowly 164th.

Bafana will also be buoyed after finishing third at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) last month, after beating Morocco and then losing on penalties to Nigeria in the semi-final.

Broos had decided to freshen his squad up from the men that did duty at AFCON with as many as 10 other players called up for this international window.

Bafana will also take on host nation Algeria next Tuesday as they round off their trip to the north African country.

The matches is also an opportunity for Broos to further test players ahead of the World Cup qualifiers, including another game against Nigeria, in June.
