Leicester City striker Patson Daka was delighted to help his side comprehensively defeat Rotherham United on Saturday.

Daka opened the scoring in the 60th minute of the Championship tie at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

He netted a second goal from the penalty spot five minutes later, and Cesare Casadei added a third goal with 72 minutes on the clock for a 3-0 win.

The Zambia striker now has four goals in his past four games for the Foxes.

The result left the club six points clear at the top of the league standings.

Daka said on ZamFoot: "It feels great, but most importantly it's about the victory today. We knew that it was going to be a tough game. It's not easy to play against a backline of five. They're always compact.

"All we wanted today was three points, no matter what, and I'm glad I contributed to the team's victory today. When I knew it was a penalty, I said I was going to take it. My team-mates showed me the confidence. They told me: 'You have to take it'.

"I was just focused on scoring, nothing else."

Leicester next face Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Tuesday.
