Nottingham Forest sign Swiss forward Dan Ndoye from Bologna

Nottingham Forest have officially announced the signing of Swiss international Dan Ndoye on a five-year contract, completing a move from Serie A side Bologna.

The 24-year-old forward joins Forest after an impressive 2024/25 campaign in Italy, where he made 41 appearances, scored 9 goals, and provided 6 assists.

Ndoye also featured in 8 Champions League matches and played a crucial role in Bologna's Coppa Italia triumph, netting the decisive goal in the final to deliver the club's first major trophy in over half a century.

"I am really happy to have signed for the club. It is a really exciting time at Forest and I knew straight away that I wanted to be a part of the project. It's a really ambitious team with a fantastic history and I can't wait to get started."

Known for his creativity, direct playing style, and exceptional ball-carrying ability - ranking among the top six in Serie A last season - Ndoye offers versatility across the front line and adds a dynamic option to Forest's attacking setup.

Born in Nyon, Switzerland, Ndoye began his career at Lausanne-Sport, making his professional debut at 18. He then moved to OGC Nice in France, followed by a permanent switch to FC Basel after an initial loan. He joined Bologna in 2023 and made 75 appearances during his time in Italy.

On the international stage, Ndoye has earned 22 caps for Switzerland since making his senior debut in 2022.

He was a standout performer at UEFA Euro 2024, starting all five of Switzerland's matches and scoring in the group stage against Germany as his country progressed to the quarter-finals.
