After recording wins against Guinea and Eritrea, Bafana beat Egypt 1-0 in an international friendly played at the Cairo International Stadium last night.
A goal from US based attacker Puso Dithejane, on his international debut, was the only difference in this game.
For Mosimane, this mission has been accomplished as he managed to give all 30 selected players a chance.
"Yeah, it was a little bit difficult. You see the first five minutes we could not find our feet. It's normal because we brought the younger ones, we changed the whole team,” Mosimane said.
“It takes s a lot of time to gel but as the game progressed, they gained confidence. I let them swim with the sharks, threw them in the deep end, they swam. It's good to see Shandre, Puso, all the young ones. Seema, a big game he played, we put Ndamane, Matuludi has been there, and also it's good to bring back Basadien because he was with the national team.
“We were a little bit thin in the midfield, I had to play Makhanya in the midfield at the end but it's part of football, you've got to do what you have to do."
Mosimane also reserved special mention for Orlando Pirates centre-back, Lebone Seema, who started for the first time, and the former Al Ahly head coach says he handled Manchester City star and Egypt star attacker Oma Marmoush.
"We were under a lot of pressure, more balls from our box, crosses but I know Egyptian football right, so we prepared a lot because the ball will always come from full backs,” the coach added.
“Marmoush was a little bit of a problem, you can see why he's playing in the Premier League, he's fast, he's quick but Lebone is quick.
“So, at least we didn't change a lot in the centre back because I didn't want Lebone to play alone with Ndamane in a big game. So, I kept Ime a little bit to play but I promised Ndamane that he will play in the second half."
