Manuel Neuer: Bayern Munich in a 'good place' heading into second half of the season

Manuel Neuer has credited Bayern Munich's unity and consistently high performance as the key reasons behind their outstanding season so far.

By the winter break, Bayern had assembled a strong record, winning all of their matches except three, a run that enabled them to solidify first place at the top of the Bundesliga.

Despite dealing with injuries to several key players, the squad remained tight-knit and continued performing brilliantly, a resilience that Neuer believes sets this team apart.

The situation has been further strengthened by the return of important players from injury, boosting confidence as the campaign intensifies.

Bayern's form has not been limited to league action, with the club also advancing further in the DFB-Pokal.

"It's very good and we feel like we're getting two new players back in the form of Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies," said Neuer, via iMiaSanMia.

"We're already looking good and having a very good first half of the season because we were able to take this momentum from the summer. We're in a good place."
