Manuel Neuer back while Jamal Musiala and Alphonso Davies rejoin Bayern training

According to reports in Germany, Neuer is expected to feature on Saturday after rejoining full team training on 31 March. His return would see 22-year-old goalkeeper Jonas Urbig drop back to the bench for the Matchday 28 clash.

Urbig, who has filled in during Neuer's absence, has already stepped up his recovery by returning to individual goalkeeping sessions. He is expected to rejoin full team training by Thursday, putting him back in contention for a place in the squad.

There was further encouragement for Bayern at their Sabener Strasse training base, with key players making timely returns. Attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala and full-back Alphonso Davies both completed full training sessions, boosting options ahead of a crucial run of fixtures.

Midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic also moved closer to full fitness, taking part in the majority of the session as he continues his recovery from a hip injury.

With several key names returning at the same time, Bayern appear to be regaining strength at a vital stage of the season. Neuer's expected comeback, combined with the return of Musiala and Davies, offers a timely lift as the title race intensifies.
