Man Utd's Harry Maguire offers positive fitness update ahead of Everton clash

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has provided a positive update on his recovery after being forced off with a suspected hamstring injury against Tottenham Hotspur.

The centre-back was substituted in the second half of the match, raising concerns over his availability heading into the international break.

Maguire's setback added to United's growing injury list, with Benjamin Sesko and Casemiro also sidelined following the draw in north London.

Despite fears that the issue could rule him out for an extended spell, Maguire has offered a reassuring message to supporters, posting an optimistic update on social media while continuing his rehabilitation at Carrington.

The 31-year-old remains under assessment, but early signs from the club suggest his recovery is progressing well.

Maguire has not been included in Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the November round of World Cup qualifiers, giving him additional time to work on his fitness before domestic action resumes.

Manchester United return to action on 24 November, when they travel to Goodison Park to face Everton on Monday Night Football.

While Maguire's outlook appears encouraging, uncertainty persists over whether he will be ready in time to feature in that fixture.
