Chelsea come into Sunday's fixture in high spirits after a dominant 7-0 win over Port Vale secured their place in the FA Cup semi-finals. Rosenior believes that performance could provide the spark needed to revive their league form.
"We have no new updates," Rosenior said in his pre-match press conference. "The positive is Estevao having 90 minutes against Port Vale."
Estevao Willian impressed in that victory, completing the full match and earning Player of the Match honours. Rosenior confirmed the young forward was fit and available to face City.
However, the Chelsea boss admitted the game had come too soon for several defenders. Trevoh Chalobah, Levi Colwill and Reece James were all ruled out, although each was progressing in recovery.
"Trevoh is working really hard and is back on the pitch," Rosenior explained. "Levi is training but still has some hurdles to overcome, and Reece has been running today. None of them will be ready for Man City but they are working well."
Midfielder Enzo Fernandez was also confirmed absent, as expected.
Despite those setbacks, Rosenior remained confident in the depth of his squad and praised the professionalism shown in the FA Cup win.
"We have a good squad and they look really, really good," he said. "I know it was a game we were expected to win, but the way we went about things was very good."
Chelsea now faced a significant test against City, as they looked to secure their first win over Guardiola's side in five years and build momentum heading into the final stretch of the season.
