Jules Kounde injury fears allayed as Barca breath sign of relief

Barcelona will be relieved to hear that the injury sustained by Jules Kounde on international duty with France is not as bad as first feared.

Kounde limped off the field in Les Bleus' international friendly with Germany on Saturday in Lyon with what looked like a sprained ankle.

However, journalist Saber Desfarges allayed fears by reporting that Kounde "did not twist his ankle" and that it was "just a strong blow that was treated with ice".

It is not yet clear if the 25-year-old will play a part in France's next match against Chile on Tuesday in Marseille.

Barca's next game is against Las Palmas in La Liga on Saturday, March 30.
