The 34-year-old Maribor man was part of the Elephants squad at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, coming on as a substitute in the 2-0 group stage win over Curacao.
Seri has turned out for a number of clubs during his varied career including ASEC Mimosas, FC Porto, Pacos Ferreira, Nice, Fulham, Hull City and Galatasaray.
He also represented his country at five Africa Cup of Nations and is currently based in Slovenia where Maribor play in the Prva Liga.
"Glory to God. After 11 years with the national team, 5 AFCON tournaments played (one of which was won), and a World Cup appearance, I announce today the end of my international career," the player posted.
"Representing Côte d'Ivoire has been an honour and a responsibility that I have always carried with pride. I thank my teammates, the staff, the Federation, and all Ivorians who love and know football, for their trust and support.
"Now it's time to focus on the next stage of my club career, with the same determination. Thank you for everything," he added.
