The Spanish champions have made a perfect start to the season, winning all nine matches in all competitions and scoring 39 goals. However, Flick knows his team face a different challenge against the Turkish champions, who will have the backing of a passionate home crowd at Rams Park.
Barcelona opened their Champions League campaign with a convincing 5-1 victory over Feyenoord but will be without Raphinha for the trip to Turkey. Tougher tests against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are also approaching.
Flick believes preparing for Galatasaray's intimidating home atmosphere will be crucial.
"First of all, we have to be ready for this atmosphere," he said.
"I think this is one of the best atmospheres ever in the world. It's amazing when I hear some situations or the sounds of the stadium, what the fans are doing; it's unbelievable."
The German coach also praised Galatasaray's improvement and their ability to compete against leading teams.
"They support their team. You also can see the results against big teams, they are playing like a big team against them, they've improved a lot," he added.
Barcelona have been scoring freely this season, with their last match in which they netted fewer than three goals coming in a 2-0 La Liga victory over Athletic Bilbao on 27 August.
However, Flick is more concerned about securing three points than extending his team's impressive scoring record.
"The only thing we want is to win, this is our goal, this is what we want," he said.
"I'm also happy if we win just 1-0, because to see this team, how they play, how they play out (from the back), they like to play football."
Galatasaray's attacking quality means Barcelona cannot afford to focus solely on their own forward play, with Flick expecting a demanding contest against a side comfortable on the ball.
"In attack they have fantastic players, so it's not easy to play against Galatasaray, especially at home," he said.
