The two teams are clashing for the second time this season after Gallants shock 2-1 victory over the Buccaneers in their opening matches. 

AmaBhakaniya have faced Bahlabane ba Ntwa on two previous occassions in knockout competitions, both in the Nedbank Cup, losing on penalties in 2022 but winning last season's semi-final clash 1-0.
