Golden Arrows urged to win for KwaZulu Natal

AmaZulu interim coach FC, Ayanda Dlamini, does not believe in doing other teams favours, but agrees with Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids on the challenge to Lamontiville Golden Arrows.

Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids issued a challenge to Abafana Besithende ahead of their last match against Chippa United on Saturday, after the relegation-threatened KZN side played to a 1-1 draw with champions Mamelodi Sundowns. Maritzburg are now waiting in anticipation that both Swallows and Arrows will get maximum points, in order to survive.

Davids expects the teams to be professional in thier last matches and not allow Chippa or Marumo Gallants to get points easily.

Dlamini has urged Arrows to make the province proud by beating the Chilli Boys and save Maritzburg from relegation.

"I do not have experience of favours, I do not believe it because no one has ever done it for us", said Dlamini ahead of the Orlando Pirates clash.

"But for me, I agree with coach Fadlu Davids, we wish they can beat Chippa United for the Province of KwaZulu-Natal. We need five teams to remain in the DStv Premiership.”

"It also gives them an opportunity to finish in the top eight, and represent us as a province."
