Ghana star Antoine Semenyo enjoying his adjustment to Manchester City life

Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo has explained how he has been able to adjust to Manchester City following his January transfer window move from Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old has started well with City since his winter move, scoring six goals and providing in 11 appearances in all competitions.

He currently sits on third position on the Premier League Golden Boot rankings with 14 goals in total this season including his strikes for Bournemouth.

"The hard work starts every day in training," said Semenyo.

"The boys just make it so easy for me to adapt, they try to play to my strengths. Same with the coach, he's trying to help me just be confident, be calm in some moments, and pop up and score some goals."

The striker has successfully featured in all three positions at the front of Pep Guardiola's attack this season, showing a knack of scoring important goals for the club.

"It's all about adapting. I'm enjoying the process, and I'm playing around world-class players, so it's making me better and keeping me on my toes," added the Ghanaian.

"It's been tough, it hasn't been easy. I think how he wants me to be is high in attacking positions, be out wide - and once we have the ball defensively, be narrow. It's obviously not easy, it's a hard graft, but I'm quite versatile in that sense."

Semenyo will be looking to continue his good form for the Citizens when they face Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.
