The 18-year-old Sweden youth international has signed a five-year deal at Craven Cottage, with the club holding an option to extend it by a further 12 months. While Fulham did not disclose the transfer fee, reports in Germany have suggested the deal is worth around 6 million euros.
Kusi-Asare spent the 2025/26 season on loan with the Cottagers, making 10 appearances in all competitions, including seven substitute outings in the Premier League. He also impressed for the club's academy side, scoring four goals in five matches.
The forward made only two senior appearances during his time at Bayern and did not feature in the Champions League, but Fulham saw enough during his loan spell to secure his services permanently. According to German newspaper Bild, Bayern have included a buyback clause in the agreement.
"I'm very happy to be a permanent Fulham player," Kusi-Asare told FFCtv.
"From my first week here, it was very good - I felt like I was a part of the Fulham family.
"The changing room was very nice, team, staff, so I'm very happy to stay here."
Announcing the move on social media, Fulham wrote: "This time it's permanent. We're delighted to confirm the permanent signing of Jonah Kusi-Asare from Bayern Munich!"
The Cottagers, who finished 11th in the Premier League last season, will begin the 2026/27 campaign at home to local rivals Chelsea on August 24, with Kusi-Asare hoping to establish himself as part of Marco Silva's first-team plans.
